Pakistan-Israel Dosti is an initiative that aspires to promote peace and build a warm relationship between the people of Pakistan and the people of Israel. The only way to open up to each other is learning and acquiring a fact-based understanding that will break through prejudices and open hearts. This website aims to gather videos, articles, and any information regarding the bond between Israelis and Pakistanis, in order to create an opportunity for further collaboration between the two societies.

Dr. Nir Boms & Dr. Najat Al-Saied

In 2020, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, and Sudan normalized their relations with Israel, the first Arab countries to do so since Jordan in 1994. What does this mean for the future of the Israeli-Palestinian relations? Will the Abraham Accords improve or worsen the prospects for Middle East Peace? And what should the Biden administration do in the aftermath of the agreements?

Sharaka and the Abraham Accords – at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco

Our distinguished, diverse panel will discuss the Abraham Accords, which began a new era of cooperation between the broader Middle East region and Israel, and inspired the development of entities such as the Sharaka Project. (Sharaka means "partnership" in Arabic.). The project was founded by young leaders in order to turn the vision of people-to-people peace into a reality and encourage citizen diplomacy. Sharaka is currently located in Bahrain, Israel, The UAE, the United States and soon will open in Morocco. The panelists will also share their personal stories and cultures that inspire them.

Dr. Nir Boms: How Much Popular Support is there for The Abraham Accords?

The Abraham Accords, now past their second anniversary, have offered a new and different model for regional relations and, in many ways, have already shaped a different reality in the region. The accords have thus far offered a dynamic of cooperation in just about all fields: business, security, diplomacy, tourism, and People-to-People (P2P) relations. However, there is more than meets the eye behind the headlines and statements on tolerance, and there are still challenges that must be addressed, particularly when it comes to people-to-people (P2P) relations, where our work has only just begun.
